MAKE AN IMPACT
PG电子游戏 Junior Empowers Preschoolers
Kimora Williams, a PG电子游戏 junior and Jumpstart team lead, helps prepare underserved preschoolers for kindergarten through literacy and emotional learning. Working with 3- and 4-year-olds at Takoma Elementary, she fosters confidence and curiosity through storytelling and personalized support.
Her experiences highlight the impact of early education on closing socioeconomic gaps. Inspired by her students, she advocates for policies that address disparities and emphasize individualized learning.
“Sometimes, there’s a tendency to overlook kids who need extra support,” Williams says. “If we don’t engage with these kids and give them the attention they need, they won’t develop the skills to communicate or thrive.”
Beyond tutoring, Williams sees education as a vehicle for change. Her work reinforces the power of care, connection and advocacy in shaping young learners’ futures.

PG电子游戏 held its eighth Inaugural Ball on January 19th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Northwest Washington, celebrating the university’s politically active campus in the heart of Washington, D.C., four blocks from the White House.
